A traffic light on Mars?
What about now? OK, so it's probably not actually a traffic light, but you've got to admit it's a pretty strangely-shaped object to be standing on its end in the middle-of-nowhere on Mars.
Check out these other weird discoveries on Mars, including a cat, bones, a lizard and even a child's toy ...

In what could be the most telling sign of life on Mars yet (OK, not really) , space enthusiasts studying pictures beamed back from the Curiosity Rover, think they have medium-tech industrial development on the Red Planet.
If correct (but it's not), this latest find would not only prove that there are life forms up there looking down, but that those life forms are in need of road traffic organization.
Yes, that's right, this time space fans have homed in on what they suggest could be a traffic light (it's actually a rock).
Albeit a tiny one, measuring probably only twelve inches long. But hey, who said martians have to be big? Or have big cars and roads?
"I have been following the images from NASA since the start and I flick through them on the NASA website every day," space 'journalist' Joe Smith told England's Western Daily Press.
"I saw this one and I thought 'hang on, that looks a bit strange'. I think it looks like a traffic light," Smith said.
The Bristol, U.K. based space fan immediately posted the picture online for review by other Curiosity Rover watchers.
"People said they thought it looked like a set of traffic lights too," Smith said. "Although some people did say it looked like a totem pole."
A totem pole would open up a whole new world of options for martian culture.
All this adds to a host of sightings of everything from cats, to boats, to potential thigh bones.
Perhaps the most striking though, even warranting an official NASA comment was a mystery light. In the end scientists concluded the light may have been a cosmic ray. On the other hand it could just have been a glinty rock.

Maybe we could have Sheila Jackson Lee ask the astronauts that landed there what that object was.

On the far right of the same photo, I can clearly see Wendy Davis engaged in debate with a large rock.
10-1 odds that the rock wins.

@HoustonPRguy - If that debate was with Abbott, the odds in favor of the rock would be 100-1.

This just in: Davis loses debate after declaring she would kill off all life that is discovered on Mars.
